About Us

Thank you for visiting our Research Updates website, the source for visitors worldwide to stay updated about what happens in the lab at Hiroshima University (HU).

Why stay updated on research at HU?

Research affects all of us! Even the earliest stages of research can result in something that will change our lives in the future. Science has moved from just staying in the laboratories to being shared with wider society, for example through social media, articles and workshops. Right now researchers are opening their arms wide and inviting us to take a look at the amazing work they're doing. This is something that was unheard of not so long ago.

Lastly it's really interesting! Whether you're interested in animals, plants, space, technology, etc, there is someone doing something awesome with these subjects. Luckily we have many of those bright people here at HU!
